Different rituals are performed every day.such as mundhan(hair cutting/chudakarma)of children,mirrage ceremony, different yagya , various other haban or cultural ceremony 

         Chudakarma or mundan 

Every year, thousands of pilgrims from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and other countries visit Ram Janaki Temple to worship Lord Ram and Sita. Many worshippers visit the temple during the festivals of Ram Nawami, Vivaha Panchami, Dashain and Tihar.

So many mithila Painting can be observed drawn artistically on the was and different corner of janakpur and janki Mandir that had carried out the identification for the community people of janakpurdham.

Cultural museum

Few year ago cultural museum is also established here preserving the historical items like ornaments of Sita  and activities in form of animation in the museum.
